Join Cree Elder Emily Henry and Cultural Support facilitator Brookie Miller in this monthly teaching of Indigenous cultural awareness. Sessions will be held via Zoom on the third Tuesday of every month from 10am-11:30am. All are welcome and encouraged to continue the monthly series.
These gatherings aim to increase knowledge and understanding of Indigenous history, wisdom and culture to all staff members of the Hollyburn community.
In our commitment to honor and learn more about the Indigenous people of the traditional territories we live and work within, Elder Emily and facilitator Brookie will help lead us through a learning journey together. Here we can have conversations around topics which will help us take part in the calls to action that the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada has outlined.
